Photo Flash: First Look at E. Faye Butler et al. in Goodman Theatre's CROWNS

Goodman Theatre Artistic Associate and "triple threat" Playwright/Director/Actor Regina Taylor brings her musical Crowns, based on the book by Craig Marberry with photographs by Michael Cunningham, back to the Goodman stage. For her all-new 10th anniversary production, Taylor has engaged community partners and used workshops to explore and deepen the spoken word, dance and music elements in Crowns. Crowns runs now through August 5, 2012 (Opening Night is July 9) in the Goodman's Albert Theatre. Get a first look at the cast on stage in the photos below!

Photo Flash: Meet the Cast of Old Globe's GOD OF CARNAGE

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the San Diego Premiere of God of Carnage, written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton. The Tony Award-winning comedy is directed by Richard Seer and will run July 27 - Sept. 2 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run July 27 - Aug. 1. Opening night is Thursday, Aug. 2 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.TheOldGlobe.org, by phone at (619) 23-GLOBE or by visiting the Box Office at 1363 Old Globe Way in Balboa Park. Polarity Ensemble Theatre's Dionysos Cup Festival of New Plays Announces Lineup Updates

Polarity Ensemble Theatre's Dionysos Cup Festival of New Plays has apparently reached the proper vintage to bear multiple fruit. This summer two scripts developed in the Dionysos Cup series will see their world premieres playing simultaneously, the series itself adds video thanks to an award from the Saints, another Dionysos Cup play has gone on to further development with the Goodman Theatre, and Polarity will award this year's Cup to a worthy and entertaining new script.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is delighted to announce that Aaron Posner returns to The Rep to direct A Christmas Carol, performed annually at the historic Pabst Theater. Posner directed The Rep's To Kill a Mockingbird, which broke all-time attendance records last season, as well as the lyrical, beautifully-realized production of My Name is Asher Lev in 2010. This will be the first time that Posner has directed A Christmas Carol at Milwaukee Rep.
