The Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical Once, just celebrated its 1000th performance on Broadway last night, August 13. Following the 8:00pm performance, Once composer Glen Hansard, who flew in from Los Angeles after performing songs from his new album at the Hollywood Bowl, joined the cast on stage at the curtain call and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the special event below!

Last night, August 8, star and composer of the 2006 indie film and Tony-winning Broadway musical ONCE Glen Hansard joined the national touring cast at the Pantages in Los Angeles for a special performance after the curtain call. Check it out below!

ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play the Hippodrome Theatre for a limited engagement from September 9- September 14. Lily-O, a new album of reimagined folk songs by Vermont-born singer/fiddler/banjoist/guitarist Sam Amidon will be released Sept. 30 by Nonesuch Records.

ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play the Orpheum Theatre for a limited engagement from October 28th through November 2nd, 2014. According to the Daily Mail, Irish pop star Ronan Keating will appear in the West End production of Once, beginning November 17, 2014, and continuing in the role of the busker (currently played by David Hunter) through March 21, 2015.

Ghost, Pantages Theatre/June 27 -July13/www.hollywoodpantages.com/ The musical stage adaptation of the 1990 runaway hit film of the same title that starred Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Oscar-winning Whoopi Goldberg. Despite its mixed reviews, the show, which originated on the West End, received 3 Tony nominations for its Broadway engagement. With book/lyrics by Bruce Joel and music/lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, Ghost's musical score includes the ever-popular 'Unchained Melody' and is bound to be an audience grabber.
