Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment and Joseph Houston and William Whelton of Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester are delighted to announce Hope Aria Productions' 2019 Season. The Season will open on 2 March with the UK premiere of a new version of the Stephen Schwartz musical RAGS. From 27 September, Tracie Bennett will star in the title role in Jerry Herman's much loved musical MAME, and the season will be completed by a new musical, THE ASTONISHING TIMES OF TIMOTHY CRATCHIT, from 22 November.

The New Jersey Foundation for Dance and Theatre Arts has been presenting "The Nutcracker" in the North Jersey area for the past 23 years. The show is considered one of New Jersey's finest dance and theatrical presentations. Revuew of the performance have called it a superb production of the "Nutcracker" with a twist. The 'twists" are Nancy King's special additions to this 100 year old ballet. The opening scene is a musical theatre production of this 1900's festive ball with Holiday vocalists and specially choreographed dances.

This past weekend the Syracuse City Ballet, the only professional ballet company serving the Central New York community, presented its annual festive and heartwarming production of The Nutcracker astutely directed and choreographed by Syracuse City Ballet founding Artistic Director Kathleen Rathbun. The talented dancers performed to the familiar music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, lighting up the stage at the Crouse Hinds Theater creating lasting memories and carrying on tradition for many Central New Yorkers.
