The hysterically funny hit comedy CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY, winner of a 2009 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience, will present a special one-night engagement to coincide with New York's annual Gay Pride celebration. CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY: GAY PRIDE EDITION will be presented Saturday, June 25 at Off-Broadway's Gramercy Theater.

Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) continues its 23rd Season with TRYST, Karoline Leach's romantic thriller about two lost souls and their secrets, set to begin previews on the company's Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage on July 1, prior to its official press opening July 7. Joe Brancato, whose Off-Broadway credits include COBB, directs.

Penguin Rep Theatre (Joe Brancato, Artistic Director, and Andrew M. Horn, Executive Director) and Edmund Gaynes, in association with Don and Lizanne Mitchell, will present The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, a musical by Angelo Parra, conceived and directed by Joe Brancato.

JERUSALEM, the critically acclaimed and multi-award winning play by Jez Butterworth and starring Tony and Olivier Award-winner Mark Rylance (Boeing-Boeing, La Bête), began previews on April 2, at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). The production, directed by Ian Rickson, opened last night, April 21 and will play a limited 16-week engagement. BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture the opening night red carpet!

Water for Elephants, based on Sara Gruen's novel of the same name and directed by Francis Lawrence premiered yesterday, April 17, in New York City. The film stars Robert Pattinson as Jacob Jankowski, Reese Witherspoon as Marlena and Christoph Waltz as August. Hal Holbrook plays the older Jacob Jankowski.

'God of Carnage' open last night, April 13, at 8 p.m. at the Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre reuniting the original Tony Award-nominated Broadway cast of Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden in the scathingly funny, Tony Award-winning Best Play. Company Members Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick served as Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening, with entertainment directed by Tony Award-winning Company Member Joe Mantello.
