THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, which begins performances on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre on April 3, has received eight Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award nominations for the acclaimed American premiere production at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles that played from November 10 - December 24, 2005.

The show, will begin previews on April 3, 2006 and will open on May 1, 2006.

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of her starring role on Broadway in Funny Girl, and the centennial celebration of the show's composer Jule Styne, Ms. Hines will feature songs from the legendary score including 'People,' 'Don't Rain On My Parade' and 'I'm The Greatest Star.' Also included in the show are selections such as 'Till There Was You,' 'And I Was Beautiful' and 'My Shining Hour.' Ms. Hines will be joined by musical director Fred Barton.
