Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell will kick off on FXX next week with a guest lineup of comedy all-stars on September 4th.

In between the first set of live shows for 'The Voice of the Philippines,' Broadway star turned coach Lea Salonga leads a benefit concert for the victims of Typhoon Maring in the Philippines. The onslaught of the typhoon has taken the lives of 24 Filipinos; displaced almost one million residents; and destroyed an estimated PhP700 million in agricultural products and infrastructure throughout Luzon, the largest island in the country.

Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, producers of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati presented by Hillshire Farm and Sam Adams today announced the festival's Grand Marshal and unveiled new enhancements to the annual event which has become known as America's Oktoberfest. More than half a million visitors are expected to converge in a six-block area of downtown to eat, drink, be merry and celebrate their German heritage. The festival is America's largest Oktoberfest celebration and second in the world only to Munich.

What do Power Rangers, pro wrestling legends, The Walking Dead and George Takei all have in common? 'Pretty Girls is a newer act on the scene that has come out of the gate with gusto,' according to the Broward-Palm Beach New Times. Their reverb-drowned, garage rock sound has taken the local music scene by storm and they have built up quite an impressive following across South Florida. The con will be the trio's last show before they take a short hiatus to finish recording their debut EP 'Daymares.' 'I'm really looking forward to this event,' shares Pretty Girls drummer, Brandon Seymour. 'I was a huge Power Rangers fan growing up, so it will be pretty cool to get to meet some of original cast face-to-face. I'm also stoked to see a lot of the other bands do their thing. The music portion of the con definitely has a little something for everyone - everything from metal to pop.' Pretty Girls will take the stage Saturday evening at 9:30pm, alongside fellow South Florida acts, such as Askultra, Urban Rebel, Atlas Complex and Falsetta. Three world premieres, seven productions in all, are scheduled for the 10th season at the Douglas. The works range from a new rock musical to a sweeping new drama to a masterful interpretation of the works of Beckett, plus the bonus option of The Second City's one-of-a-kind Christmas show.
