The Stella Adler Studio of Acting presented their Eighth Annual Stella by Starlight Benefit Gala last night at Espace in New York City. This year's honorees included acting luminaries Elaine Stritch and George Takei, Broadway idol Stephen Sondheim and real estate mogul Charles S. Cohen. The gala featured a special live performance from Ms. Stritch's friend Bernadette Peters and red carpet appearances by Alec Baldwin, Liza Minnelli and James Gandolfini. This year's honorees include acting luminaries Elaine Stritch and George Takei, Broadway idol Stephen Sondheim and real estate mogul Charles S. Cohen. Additional red carpet guests include gala co-hosts and Stella Adler alums JANE LEVY (Evil Dead, Suburgatory) and Keith Powell (30 Rock).

The sexy supernatural drama series LOST GIRL has begun production on Season 4 in Toronto. The 13 all-new episodes will premiere on Syfy in early 2014.

"Futurama" rockets into space for the (second) final time as the Emmy Award-winning series will conclude its long history with this summer's all-new season. The thirteen-episode summer run will premiere on COMEDY CENTRAL with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, June 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with the emotional series finale scheduled for September 4. Special guest stars for the final season include Larry Bird, Dan Castellaneta, Emilia Clark, Sarah Silverman, George Takei, Adam West and Burt Ward. The show's entire original voice cast will be returning. Including the yet-to-air season, this will bring the total number of episodes in "Futurama's" storied history to 140.

The Broadway-bound show is in the midst of a New York City developmental lab through May 17, and a production source tells BroadwayWorld.com that ALLEGIANCE is aiming for Broadway, possibly in the spring of 2014. The source cautions that there's numerous variables including star schedules and theatre availability that need to line up, so there is yet no official plan.

Her new program, 'Back to Before,' is a nostalgic repertoire in which she revisits her life as a New Yorker and pays tribute to her favorite ladies-most notably Ella Fitzgerald and her idol, Barbra Streisand. 'Back to Before' will be making its debut at the Cafe Carlyle. Ms. Salonga's engagement at the Cafe Carlyle will run from tonight, May 21st to June 8th.
