Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw opened their newest production, Shaw's THE DOCTOR'S DILEMMA at The Players on March 22, 2010.

GPR Records' first release will be 'Poetic License' featuring 100 poems read by 100 performers of the stage and screen. The CD will be released on April 2nd in celebration of National Poetry Month and will be available on Amazon.com and on itunes. There has never been a spoken word recording that has included so many performers reading such a wide variety of poetry, each selection a personal choice of the performer. GPR Records is presenting this collection in hopes of inspiring audiences with a new appreciation of the spoken word.

Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW will begin their new show MONDAY MARCH 22 at 7pm at THE PLAYERS (located at 16 Gramercy Park South (20th St. east of Park Av))-George BERNARD SHAW's 'THE DOCTOR's DILEMMA'.

Gingold Theatrical Group and Project Shaw celebrated St. Patrick's Day at Players Club with George Bernard Shaw scenes and snippets, plus Irish music and traditional corned-beef and cabbage dinner last night, March 17, 2010, as part of it's second annual St. Patrick's Day Gala. BroadwayWorld was there for the fun.

On April 19, 2010 the National Dance Institute will honor Harry Belafonte at their 33rd annual gala, at the NOKIA Theatre Times Square beginning at 6 PM. The evening's festivities will be emceed by Terrence Mann. In addition to performances by NDI dancers, Allegra Kent, George S. Irving, and Isaiah Sheffer will perform Aesop's Fable, The Lion and the Mouse. The evening will also honor director and producer James D. Stern. Proceeds benefit National Dance Institute.

Fanny, the 50th Encores! musical produced by New York City Center since 1994 and the second Encores! production of the season, opened on February 4 and ran through February 7, 2010. Fanny has music and lyrics by Harold Rome and book by S.N. Behrman and Joshua Logan, and is based on Marcel Pagnol's trilogy Marius, Fanny and Cesar. Fanny was directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Lorin Latarro with music direction by Rob Berman.
