On December 8, Palm Beach Dramaworks launches the third season of its highly successful Dramalogue - Talking Theatre! series with Paul Gemignani: Musical Theatre's Master Maestro. The program features the esteemed Broadway musical director in conversation with Sheryl Flatow. Gemignani, recipient of the 2001 Lifetime Achievement Tony Award, will discuss a remarkable career still going strong after more than 40 years, and talk about how he helps shape a show and bring a score to life. The program will be presented twice, at 2pm (limited seating available) and 7pm at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre.

The six time Tony winner is also a tireless advocate for New York City's children.

Candace Cameron Bure, "Full House," the upcoming Netflix series "Fuller House," "Dancing with the Stars" and "The View," and friend Dilini visited AN AMERICAN IN PARIS Thursday, November 19th and went backstage to meet the cast.

In recognition of the ongoing support provided by the family of actor, director, comedian, writer, and Tisch alumnus Billy Crystal, Tisch Dean Allyson Green announced yesterday that Tisch School of the Arts will officially rename its theater at 111 Second Avenue the 'Jack Crystal Theater,' in memory of Crystal's father, jazz impresario Jack Crystal. Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) is proud to present A Balanchine Celebrationas the Company's opening performance at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for its 2015-2016 season. Visionary director Julie Taymor curates and hosts the first National Sawdust+ concert tonight, November 6 at 7:30pm. MADE IN BROOKLYN, an evening inspired by that artistically fertile corner of New York City, will feature music by Brooklyn-born composers including the great George Gershwin and Oscar-winners Aaron Copland, John Corigliano and Elliot Goldenthal. The concert will feature the world concert premiere of Goldenthal's String Quartet No. 1 'The Stone Cutters' performed by Flux Quartet, the 'Chaconne' from Corigliano's Academy Award-winning score for The Red Violin, performed by Tim Fain & Stephen Gosling, and much more.

Washington, D.C.'s beloved musicologist, humorist and jazz pianist extraordinaire, John Eaton, will share the history and harmonies of some favorite seasonal songs from the American Songbook at a special "Holiday Spectacular" at The Alden in McLean.

These two legends, YOSSELE ROSENBLATT and GEORGE GERSHWIN, come from entirely different musical worlds. And yet they both became larger than life in the culturally exploding 1910s and 1920s. Rosenblatt made even the non-Jewish world become fans of 'Chazzanus', while Gershwin brought Tin Pan Alley into the concert hall and gave us some of the most beautiful songs of all time.
