Tonight, October 29, Cheryl Bentyne, 9-time Grammy-winning member of The Manhattan Transfer performs with Mark Winkler, platinum-award winning jazz vocalist/lyricist, and sparks fly.

The Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace will present HAZEL, based on the character from the Saturday Evening Post comic strip, and the 1960's TV comedy series starring Shirley Booth.

PRE-SHOW is a new cabaret aiming to target theatregoers before they arrive at their actual theatres for the night.

In a one-of-a-kind concert created especially for Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC), the world's most seasoned Gershwin interpreter, Peter Nero, will perform Gershwin's timeless works from Broadway and film on Saturday, November 14 at 8pm. This two-part program will be a special evening dedicated to the work Gershwin composed in Los Angeles after relocating from New York. 

Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) is proud to present A Balanchine Celebrationas the Company's opening performance at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for its 2015-2016 season. Each piece will be accompanied by a full orchestra featuring members of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, under the direction of guest conductor, Leif Bjaland. The orchestra magically weaves Gershwin's greatest hits into the drama as the master composer shares historical anecdotes about his life and musical passion. Audiences will be captivated by over 20 of Gershwin's most popular classical compositions Porgy & Bess, American in Paris, and Rhapsody in Blue to popular hits from the American Songbook including I Got Rhythm, Swanee, The Man I Love, Someone to Watch Over Me, andFascinating Rhythm  

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts welcomes Canadian Brass and organist Jeffrey Brillhart back to the Verizon Hall stage tonight, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. This dynamic pair has not performed together at the Kimmel Center since 2012 and returns with an afternoon of wide-ranging repertoire from brass standards and original arrangements, to works for solo organ, as performed by Mr. Brillhart on the Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ.

This Halloween the GRAMMY Award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has something for everyone on the spookiest Saturday of the year, October 31, 2015, including the first Family Concert of the 2015-16 season, Halloween Hijinks, at 2:00 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall.
