Arriving just in time for the 120th birthday of the legendary George Gershwin, BroadwayHD will debut the dazzling hit musical An American in Paris, featuring a live captured performance from London's Dominion Theatre in 2018. The filmed performance headlines original Broadway stars Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan and British Royal Ballet dancer Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin along with a company of 50 cast members including Haydn Oakley as Henri Baurel, Zoe Rainey as Milo Davenport, David Seadon-Young as Adam Hochberg and Jane Asher as Madame Baurel.

California Pops Orchestra, the country's only all-request pops orchestra, announces its 30th performance season. Conductor Kim Venaas and the 70 members of the Orchestra present five fun-loving performances at Cupertino's Flint Center, adding their signature playfulness, audience engagement, and surprise elements to the mix. The new season runs September 30, 2018 through May 19, 2019. All performances are held Sundays at 3pm, at Flint Center at De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd in Cupertino. Theater J presents the Washington, DC debut of the Hershey Felder production of The Pianist of Willesden Lane, starring internationally-acclaimed storyteller and concert pianist Mona Golabek in a limited engagement at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the Family Theater. The production is adapted and directed by Hershey Felder and based on the book The Children of Willesden Lane: Beyond the Kindertransport: A Memoir of Music, Love, and Survival by Golabek and Lee Cohen. Tony Bennett and Diana Krall celebrate their shared love of the music of George and Ira Gershwin on their new collaborative album, "Love is Here to Stay," set for wide release on September 14. Audiences can see them each perform live on The Hanover Theatre stage. Tony Bennett: 10th Anniversary Performance and Gala is on Friday, September 28 at 7:30 pm and Diana Krall: Turn Up The Quiet World Tour 2018 comes to the theatre on Saturday, October 6 at 8 pm.
