The brand new 20th anniversary production of Jonathan Harvey's classic play, Beautiful Thing, which opened to rave reviews and huge critical and public acclaim, will finish at the Arts Theatre on 25 May before a short UK tour visiting Liverpool, Leeds and Brighton. Directed by Nikolai Foster, and designed by Colin Richmond, the production stars Suranne Jones as 'Sandra', Zaraah Abrahams as 'Leah', Oliver Farnworth as 'Tony and introducing Jake Davies as 'Jamie' and Danny-Boy Hatchard, making his professional debut as 'Ste'.
HighTide Festival Theatre will announce full casting for its 2013 season (see below for full details). Also HighTide is pleased to announce further 'In Conversation' events with writer and director Stephen Poliakoff CBE, and playwright and novelist Michael Frayn. The Finborough Theatre is pleased to announce that Dawn King has just been awarded a Pearson Playwrights' Bursary for New Writing as Playwright-in-Residence at the Finborough Theatre. This is the seventh year that the Finborough Theatre has won this prestigious new writing award and - once again - the Finborough Theatre is the only unsubsidised theatre to win a Pearson bursary.
