"What the Butler Saw," a shameless comedy by Joe Orton, offering a little blackmail and a lot of sexual innuendo, will be staged at Westport Country Playhouse, August 23 - September 10. 

Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies and Sony Pictures Entertainment invite you to scheme on the big screen when the Stanley Kubrick classic Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) bursts onto the big screen at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, September 18 at 7:00 pm. 

The Public Theater recently announced that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, had stepped into the company of Troilus and Cressida as Achilles, replacing David Harbour, who suffered an injury during previews and will be unable to complete the run. The play celebrates its opening tonight, August 9, after a short delay.

National Theatre's upcoming production of ANGELS IN AMERICA is close to enlisting a stage legend for its starry company.

Producer Antonio R. Marion announced today that Tony nominee and Olivier Award-winner Daniel Evans will direct the Broadway-Bound epic new original stage play, Sherlock Holmes, by British writing team of Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel. The project was originally announced in late 2014.

The North American tour of the new stage adaptation of THE WIZARD OF OZ will play the National Theatre for two weeks only, tonight, May 3, through May 15, 2016.
