Lisa Lampanelli to Headline BROADWAY HOLIDAY at 42West, Today

Comedian Lisa Lampanelli will headline Broadway Holiday, a festive evening of singing, signing and celebration produced by Other Voices (Kim Weild, Artistic Director; Jill Bernard, Producing Director).? The evening benefits Other Voices' winter workshop with the students of PS347 The American Sign Language and English Lower School. The special evening will feature cast members from Spring Awakening, Beautiful, Amazing Grace, Cabaret and more singing and signing holiday classics and leading a holiday sing/sign ­along. The benefit will be held at 42West located at 514 West 42nd Street between 10th and 11th Avenues on today, December 17th, 2015. Tickets are free and can be reserved at www.othervoicesholiday.eventbrite.com. There is a suggested donation of $20 at the door.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre presents the 27th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place today, October 15 and tomorrow, October 16 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Nathan Lee Graham Set for Reading of New BATTLES Musical This Month

The Battles Musical LLC will present a second developmental reading of the new musical, THE BATTLES, with music, book, and lyrics by Ned Massey, at the New 42nd Street Studios on Friday, October 23rd, at 3 pm. The reading will be directed by Tom Wojtunik with musical direction by Joshua Stephen Kartes, and casting by Michael Cassara, CSA. The musical received its first reading in June as part of the Emerging Artist Theatre's "New Works Series."

Chita Rivera Reveals THE VISIT Is Heading to Beijing, Singapore & More!

Kander and Ebb's Tony-nominated musical THE VISIT might have closed on Broadway earlier this summer, but according to leading lady Chita Rivera, the show will have another life overseas. THE VISIT Cast Reunites Tonight for CD Signing, Performance at Barnes & Noble

THE VISIT cast album, out tomorrow, is a joint release of two labels: Broadway Records and Yellow Sound Label, and is co-executive produced by Hunter Arnold, Carl Daikelerand Sandi Moran. Tonight, July 9 (7PM), the company will reunite at Barnes and Noble (150 East 86th Street) for a CD signing and performance.

The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio on April 27th to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers), The Visit album is now available. Below, BroadwayWorld is excited to bring you an exclusive preview of the company in the recording studio!
