The Morris Museum rolls out its 2016 slate of programming for adults this January with the return of trumpet prodigy Geoff Gallante; a lecture by New Jersey collector and author Leo Rogers; a Paint and Sip studio art workshop; and a mosaic workshop.

?Singer Barbara Morrison will perform with an illustrious group of musicians including piano players Bill Cunliffe, Michael Francis and Dr. Roger Dickerson and trumpeter Ray Vega Friday through Sunday at the Roswell Jazz Festival.

When the Harlem Renaissance was in vogue at the dawn of the 20th Century, the jazz clubs around Jungle Alley, between Lenox and Seventh Avenue - The Savoy Ballroom, Small's Paradise, Minton's Playhouse, Clark Monroe's Uptown House, The Ubangi Club, Park Palace, Connie's Inn, and others - were the place to be. These immortal nightclubs, concert halls, cabarets, speakeasies and ballrooms, will be channeled and showcased May 4 - 10 at the Fourth Annual Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival.

Monday night's episode of Jim Caruso's Cast Party was like a modern-day "Ed Sullivan Show," thanks to a wide array of wonderful talent. From 11-year-old jazz trumpet player Geoff Gallante, who played and crooned "Bare Necessities," to "Beauty And The Geek" star Richard Rubin, the 'extreme open mic' entertained the packed house into the wee hours.
