Pittsburgh CLO and the University of Pittsburgh are proud to announce the nominees for the Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theater. The awards show will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at the Benedum Center in downtown Pittsburgh.

A new production of BRIGADOON will have its world premiere at the Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) in Boston this fall, prior to opening on Broadway in Spring, 2009 at a theatre to be announced. The production will play October 14-November 9, 2008 in Boston.

It was confirmed today that new production of 'Brigadoon will be having its world premiere in Boston followed by an opening on Broadway in the Spring of 2009. The show features original book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe.

Pittsburgh CLO and Carnegie Mellon School of Drama are proud to announce a new partnership with The ASCAP Foundation and composer/lyricist and Carnegie Mellon alumnus Stephen Schwartz to develop new musicals as part of the Pittsburgh CLO/Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama New Works Program.
