The Encore Musical Theatre Company has announced the impressive cast and creative team for their upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's timeless musical masterpiece, Into the Woods, running from February 15 - March 3, 2024 on The Maas Stage.

This anticipated concert is the culmination of The Encore’s month-long celebration of Black Heritage Through Music, and will feature some of your favorite Stevie hits — Superstition, Living for the City, You Are the Sunshine of My Life and so many more.

The Encore Musical Theatre kicks off a new season of mainstage musicals with the Broadway hit SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ. The longest-running revue in Broadway history, the show features a Grammy-winning score by hitmakers, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. You'll be dancing in your seat to such instantly recognizable tunes as On Broadway, Fools Fall in Love, Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Love Potion #9 and so many more.

Based on the novel of the same name by Jon Krakauer, and 'Back to the Wild' by the Christopher J. McCandless Foundation, INTO THE WILD is written by Janet Allard (Book and Lyrics) and Niko Tsakalakos (Music and Lyrics). It is directed by Mia Walker, music directed by Tyler Driskill, with orchestrations by Brian Usifer, vocal arrangements by Angelique Mouyis, and stars Conor Ryan as Christopher McCandless.
