Rehearsals are underway for Steppenwolf Theatre Company's highly anticipated world premiere production of MARY PAGE MARLOWE, written by Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning playwright and ensemble member Tracy Letts. Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro, who directed Letts's internationally acclaimed August: Osage County, teams up with him again for this intimate and moving production in Steppenwolf's 40th anniversary season. Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today acclaimed stage and screen actor Blair Brown will join the cast of Mary Page Marlowe as one of the seven actors sharing the role of Mary over the span of her life

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday, January 29 at 11am for the highly anticipated world premiere production of Mary Page Marlowe, written by Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning playwright and ensemble member Tracy Letts. The West Coast premiere of the production, presented in collaboration with Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA, will run through December 20, 2015. Young Jean Lee's STRAIGHT WHITE MEN will have its West Coast premiere November 20 - December 20, 2015, at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre, directed by Lee and presented in collaboration with the Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA. The first U.S. performances of the play since The Public Theater presented its New York premiere last fall will feature a cast of Frank Boyd, Richard Riehle, Brian Slaten and Gary Wilmes.

The Public Theater announced a one-week extension for the acclaimed STRAIGHT WHITE MEN, a new play written and directed by OBIE winner Young Jean Lee. A co-production with Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, STRAIGHT WHITE MEN began previews on Friday, November 7 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 7. It will now run an additional week through Sunday, December 14.
