THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN's Daniel Radcliffe Set for TimesTalks Tonight; Sold-Out Event to Be Streamed Online

Daniel Radcliffe, star of The Michael Grandage Company production of THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, will be interviewed tonight at TimesTalks, 6:30-8:00 PM at The Times Center, 242 West 41st Street. Only on Broadway it is normal to spot Walter White and Harry Potter within blocks of each other. That's right, this season's stunning slate of plays has brought with it a slew of stars from Bryan Cranston to Daniel Radcliffe, Audra McDonald to James Franco, Tyne Daly to Denzel Washington. In just weeks, a whole new group of productions will have officially opened- adding ten new plays to the Broadway roster. Ranging form literary classics to brand new works, this spring's new plays include: A Raisin in the Sun, Act One, All the Way, Casa Valentina, The Cripple of Inishmaan, Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, Mothers and Sons, Of Mice and Men, The Realistic Joneses, and The Velocity of Autumn. Daniel Radcliffe won Best Actor in a Play at London's WhatsOnStage Awards yesterday, for his performance in the Michael Grandage Company production of THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, by Martin McDonagh. Director Michael Grandage also won Best Director for his company's inaugural season of work, including THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN.

Full casting was announced today for the new production of Brian Friel's Translations, which will open at Sheffield Theatres on February 17, as part of a season of work dedicated to Friel, before travelling to Cambridge, Exeter, Newcastle, Oxford, Ipswich and culminating at the Rose Theatre Kingston from 22 April - 3 May.

Cast Announced for THE HAIRY APE, May-June at the Southwalk Playhouse

Cartwright Productions and Creature of London have announced the cast for their production of The Hairy Ape by Eugene O'Neill, which is scheduled to play 16th of May to 9th June, 2012 at the Southwark Playhouse. The opening night is the 18th of May. The show is directed by Kate Budgen and designed by Jean Chan, with lighting design by Richard Howell and sound design by Tom Gibbons.
