Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is proud to present Grammy nominated jazz pianist, vocalist and songwriter Judy Carmichael in 'Swing Time!' on Saturday, March 24 at 8 p.m., her first performance in a Jazz Inspired series that Carmichael has curated in partnership with Patchogue Theatre. Executive Director Gary Hygom approached Carmichael about bringing her NPR / Sirius-XM radio series Judy Carmichael's Jazz Inspired, now its eighteenth year, to the Main Stage.
Patchogue Theatre will be producing a full concert version of the exciting, Broadway altering and Tony, Drama Desk and Grammy-winning Musical 'HAIR'. Directed by the Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-winning John McDaniel and starring Broadway and American Idol's Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo, along with a cast of young Broadway and national touring talent. A full 11 piece band will back this amazing cast. With its Broadway Debut in 1968, Hair established the 'Rock Musical'. This groundbreaking show celebrates youth the hippie counterculture, anti-war movement and sexual revolution of the 1960s with a score of hits - including 'Hair', 'Aquarius', 'Easy to be Hard', 'Good Morning Starshine' all have become part of our pop culture.

Harper Lee's classic novel To Kill a Mockingbird is indeed an astonishing tale and the staged incarnation is just as powerful as the book first published in 1960. The story is Lee's account of her own observations of her own family and neighborhood in addition to an event that occurred in/near her hometown in 1936, when she was 10 years old.
Bay Street Theater's World Premiere of MY LIFE IS A MUSICAL opened last night and runs through August 31. This musical comedy with book, music and lyrics by Adam Overett, is directed and choreographed by Marlo Hunter. The music sessions will continue every Friday in January and February (excluding February 7) and will feature a different special guest each week, along with the music and fun of Nancy Atlas and the Nancy Atlas Project live in concert.
