Monty Python's SPAMALOT, the 2005 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical, returns to spread laughter and cheer throughout the Kingdom of South Florida for a limited engagement at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre from March 5 - 30, 2014.

A musical about the struggles of a bipolar woman and the plight of two prisoners in a concentration camp during the Holocaust received the most nominations in the musical and play categories when the nominations were announced for the 38th Carbonell Awards, which honors excellence in theatre in South Florida.

Miami regional theatre Actors' Playhouse wisely chose pint-sized powerhouse Julia Dale to lead their company to victory with their production of Ruthless! The Musical, which opened this weekend at the Miracle Theatre.

Ruthless! The Musical is a gem of a satirical comedy about the consuming drive for stardom. Suburban housewife Judy Denmark is dull as dull can be, but her daughter, Tina, is the greatest song-and-dance sensation to ever hit the third grade. She's cute. She dances. She sings. And she would do anything to get the lead role in her school play...ANYTHING! Move over Honey Boo Boo, this outrageous and hysterically funny musical hit garnered rave reviews during its Off-Broadway run in the early 90s, and is ripe for a revival in today's celebrity driven world.

Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre will kick off its 2013-2014 Season with the ruthlessly outrageous Off-Broadway hit Ruthless! The Musical from October 9 - November 3, 2013.
