Baird had this to say about the production: 'It is wonderful to return home to San Diego to fulfill a dream to stage this play with Diversionary Theatre. With their support - and an incredibly talented team - we have been able to create a big, rich and exhilarating production that is so powerful in such an intimate space.'

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is hosting its annual Flag Day Celebration on Tuesday, June 14 and is sponsored by the Marcus Center and Environmental Systems, Inc.

The Marcus Center is hosting a special Flag Day Celebration on Monday, June 14 in honor of its 40 years of enriching the community. Festivities are at the Marcus Center's Peck Pavilion from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The theme will be Honoring the Dead by Serving the Living. This event is free and open to the public.
