After directing 50 productions in almost 20 years Jon Kretzu leaves his post as Associate Artistic Director at Artists Repertory Theatre. Working side-by-side with Artistic Director Allen Nause, who retires at the end of this season, Kretzu has made great contributions to the mission of Artists Rep both as a play director and in his artistic administrative role.

Portland Center Stage (PCS) will present the world premiere of the new musical, Somewhere in Time, based on the novel by renowned author Richard Matheson (I Am Legend, What Dreams May Come), which was made into the hit film starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. Somewhere in Time begins previews on May 28, with opening night set for May 31, 2013.

Book-It Repertory Theatre has announced its staging of the popular bestseller, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. This hopeful journey of a Chinese American boy in 1940s Seattle will run Wednesday- Sunday, tonight, Sept 18 - October 21, 2012 at the Center Theatre at the Armory.
