Columbia Stages will present THE PHYSICISTS, an MFA Directing thesis production, written by Friedrich Durrenmatt, directed by Sina Heiss. THE PHYSICISTS will open at The Connelly and run from January 22-25, 2014.

Yale School of Drama (James Bundy, Dean; Victoria Nolan, Deputy Dean) is pleased to announce its 2013-14 season, three vividly imagined theatrical productions that invite us to examine some of the most morally ambiguous choices we humans ever make: to punish, to rebel, to die. The 2013-14 season includes The Visit by Friedrich Durrenmatt, translated by Maurice Valency, directed by Cole Lewis; Peter Pan by Sir James Matthew Barrie, adapted and directed by Dustin Wills; and Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, translated by Paul Walsh, directed by Katherine McGerr.

Olivier Award-winner Kathryn Hunter returns to the Arcola Theatre in Leyla Nazli's evocative new play, The Mare Rider. The production runs tonight, 22 January - Saturday 16 February 2013, with press night slated for Friday 25 January at 7.30PM.

Miranda Raison to Star in PHYSICISTS

The Daily Mail UK reports that Miranda Raison will star in Donmar Theatre's Physicists. The actress will play a physicist's wife and nurse in the stage version of Friedrich Durrenmatt's Cold War satire. Josie Rourke will direct the show, which begins rehearsals April 23 and starts performances May 31.
