The following are the events set to take place at Joe's Pub from April 7 - April 13.

Producer Debbie Bisno and Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jon Steingart and Jenny Wiener Steingart, Executive Producers) announce a by-invitation only Equity staged reading of new musical Big Money by Kyle Jarrow and Nathan Leigh, presented at Ars Nova on April 13 and 14.

David Parsons, Gala Chair Linda Stocknoff, and the Board of Directors of Parsons Dance proudly announce Parson Dance's 2009 Gala hosted by Lin-Manuel Miranda on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 7pm at The Times Center, 242 W. 41st Street, NYC.

As part of NBC Universal's ongoing Talent Diversity Initiative, NBC has entered a first-look deal with Ars Nova, New York's premier artistic hub dedicated to new work in theater, comedy and music. Ars Nova is committed to the development of emerging diverse talent, and will aid NBCU in identifying and meeting with diverse talent, including writers and performers, who develop artistic material at the theater.

After a development process that began in Ars Nova's comedy series Tragedy Tomorrow, sketch comedy dynamos Carr and Deupree present their most ambitious show yet.

N THE HEIGHTS gave people a chance to share the love...and win! The Tony Winning musical held a Freestyle video contest about the one you love. Entrants were asked to submit a video for the chance to win a romantic trip to see IN THE HEIGHTS on Valentine's Day. The videos were judged by Lin-Manuel Miranda's Freestyle Love Supreme and the best overall freestyle rap won a special Valentine's Day date package: Dinner for 2 at Tony's Di Napoli, a hot New York restaurant and a pair of tickets to IN THE HEIGHTS! And the winner is...8 year old 'Shane', who gives a 'HEIGHTS' worthy performance about loving...IN THE HEIGHTS!

Fresh off their headlining North American tour in support of their platinum album Indestructible, Grammy-nominated hard-rock band Disturbed will launch the Music As A Weapon IV Tour-a music, tattoo, and lifestyle festival-presented by Samsung Mobile and powered by Sprint. Music As A Weapon IV Tour featuring Disturbed, with special guests Killswitch Engage, Lucuna Coil and Chimaira, will make a stop at Detroit's Cobo Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2. Music festival and tattoo convention doors open at 2 p.m. in Wayne Hall inside Cobo Convention Center.

Alan Turing, the queer, British mathematician whose ideas would usher in the digital age, works obsessively to complete his great work: a machine capable of thinking, learning, and - one day - living. But when his life and work are put on trial, Alan must confront the painful connection between his pursuit of artificial life and his first love's death.
