Last night The Trevor Project hosted its 2017 TrevorLIVE New York gala at the Marriot Marquis in Times Square. The event featured special performances by Grammy Award-winning rock band Imagine Dragons and Broadway stars Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan.

Further casting has been announced for Apologia, which will begin previews on 29th July at Trafalgar Studios. Freema Agyeman will join previously announced Tony and Emmy award winner Stockard Channing in a new production of Olivier Award winner Alexi Kaye Campbell's darkly funny and haunting play about family and its secrets, directed by the multi-award winning Jamie Lloyd.

The Trevor Project will present musician Dan Reynolds with the Trevor Hero Honoree, Deloitte with 20/20 Award, and marriage equality champion Edie Windsor with the Icon Award at the TrevorLIVE New York 2017 fundraiser to raise awareness of suicide prevention and crisis intervention for LGBTQ youth. The event will also feature performances by Shoshana Bean, Dana Goldberg, Jeremy Jordan, and a special extended performance by Grammy Award-winning rock band, Imagine Dragons.

Netflix has greenlit a second season for its original dramatic thriller SENSE 8.  The streaming service tweeted a video announcing the news.

In less than one day, you are going to find out what it means to be a sensate and how it would feel to be one of eight people from around the world whose lives are suddenly connected and fighting for your own survival.

et a taste of what it means to be  a Sensate in the official trailer and first look images from the Netflix original series Sense8.  All twelve (12) episodes of the global dramatic thriller will launch  Friday, June 5  only on Netflix in all Netflix territories around the world.

Yesterday, Warner Bros TV released the first Image of the young Samantha Jones, to be played by Lindsey Gort. Kim Cattrall, who originated the steamy role took to Twitter to show her approval and lend a bit of advice to her younger counterpart.

The CW announced today that SEX AND THE CITY's Jones (originally played by Kim Cattrall) will hit the New York scene for season two on the one-hour prequel series. As of now, no one has been cast as the infamously free and promiscuous character.

On this Monday's new episode of The Carrie Diaries, titled 'A First Time for Everything,' when Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) inadvertently complicates things with Sebastian (Austin Butler), she tries to fix it by taking him to Madonna's 'The Virgin Tour' launch party - but in her quest for the perfect night, only makes things worse. Despite Mouse's (Ellen Wong) best efforts to avoid West (guest star RJ Brown), she can't seem to deny the romantic sparks flying between them. Dorrit (Stefania Owen) turns to Donna LaDonna (Chloe Bridges) for advice about her budding love life. Meanwhile, Tom (Matt Letscher) has an awkward encounter when he spends the night somewhere new. Freema Agyeman also stars. Patrick Norris directed the episode written by Henry Alonso Myers (#112.)
