In 1962, two great Utah establishments began their now-illustrious odysseys: BYU Broadcasting was granted a license to operate on television, and the Utah Shakespeare Festival presented its first annual season in Cedar City. This year, the two join forces for a onetime special live broadcast of a Festival performance.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Utah Shakespeare Festival, a number of entities have come together to showcase the Festival in seven different exhibits. Guests will better understand the Festival's history by visiting these exhibits and seeing fifty years unfold through photos, programs, posters, displays, and a special showing of Shakespeare's First Folio.

Fiery Dragons production compny has just announced plans to bringSheffield Theatres' ME AND MY GIRL and a sequel to THE 39 STEPS to the West End, according to Whatsonstage.com. They plan to capitalize on 'recent success and growth of British commercial theatre'.

The Group Rep presents Broadway's hit thriller WAIT UNTIL DARK by Frederick Knott, directed by David Colwell, produced by Richard Alan Woody. The play clsoes Sunday, May 8 at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood.
