The new film 'The Big Gay Musical' will have its theatrical debut August 9th at The Art House in Provincetown, MA. The event will start at 10:30pm. The film will then hold an NYC premiere September 11 at Chelsea Clearview.

QFest is tickled pink to announce the smash hit films scheduled for Opening and Closing Nights, July 9 and 20, at the Prince Music Theater. QFest alum (director of last year's Serene Hunter) Jason Bushman's feature debut, Hollywood je t'aime, will kick off this year's cinematic extravaganza, and the world premiere of Casper Andreas and Fred M. Caruso's The Big Gay Musical is set to be the grand finale. Sandwiched in between, the 12 day festival will show 140 of the best LGBTQ films of the year.

On July 14, 2009, the soundtrack of the upcoming film, THE BIG GAY MUSICAL will be released. Presales for the CD & the new line of T-shirts (see below) will begin on May 18th on the BGM website. The film will be on the festival circuit this summer & will be in movie theatres in the fall The date of the CD release party will be announced shortly.

Starting October 24th, 2008 filming will commence on a new feature musical film 'Big Gay Musical'.

On Monday, May 19, 2008, the original Off-Broadway cast of the acclaimed 2006 musical comedy I LOVE YOU BECAUSE will reunite for a special one-night only concert presentation at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, NYC).

The new musical I Love You Because, with its acclaimed score by Ryan Cunningham and Joshua Salzman, will be preserved on disc, in a recording to be released in the fall by PS Classics

The world premiere of the musical, One Way to Hell, will play the Lee Strasberg Theatre Center's Marilyn Monroe Theatre, with previews on May 18 - 21 and May 25 - 28 and a limited run from June 1st through August 6th

The Off-Broadway musical I Love You Because will close on Sunday, May 21 following the 7:15pm evening performance at the Village Theatre

Jana Robbins and the cast of I Love You Because (produced by Robbins) will perform at the Duplex on May 17th

On May 13th, the Off-Broadway hit musical I Love You Because celebrates its 100th performance

I Love You Because will offer the talkback 'He Said...She Said' on March 30th; it will feature advice from relationship experts Ian Kerner and Jillian Strauss
