Louie Anderson comes to the Comedy Club at Bay Street Theatre on Monday, July 18. Louie made his national television debut on the 'The Tonight Show' in 1984. He has guest-starred in sitcoms like 'Grace Under Fire' and dramas like 'Touched by an Angel' and 'Chicago Hope,' and he has had featured roles in film comedies like 'Coming to America,' opposite of Eddie Murphy, and the classic 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.' He is also host of the hilarious 'Comedy Showcase,' the late-night series that follows 'Saturday Night Live.' In 1995 Louie put his creative energies to work on the Saturday morning animated series 'Life with Louie.' The long-running series based on Louie's own childhood earned him two Emmy Awards. His best selling books include Dear Dad - Letters From An Adult Child and Good-bye Jumbo...Hello Cruel World. Louie recently finished writing THE F WORD, HOW TO SURVIVE YOUR FAMILY.

To kick off the comedy series, Bay Street warms up audiences on Saturday, July 2 with RICHARD BELZER. Belzer has played Detective Munch on a record-setting ten different television series- Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law and Order: Trial By Jury, Homicide, The X-Files, The Beat, M.O.N.Y., Sesame Street, The Wire and Arrested Development. He began show business with Groove Tube. Off Broadway credits include THE NATIONAL LAMPOON SHOW with Bill Murray, Gilda Radner and John Belushi, on radio in Brink and Belzer on WNBC; and in film Fame; Author! Author! Night Shift, Scarface, Man on the Moon, Species II, Get on the Bus, Girl 6, A Very Brady Sequel, North, The Bonfire of the Vanities and The Big Picture. Belzer starred in his own HBO comedy special, Another Lone Nut and in the six-part Showtime series The Richard Belzer Show. He also hosted When Cars Attack, Hot Properties, and Crime Stories.

The 6-part IFC Original short-based comedy series PORTLANDIA, created, written by and starring Fred Armisen (SNL) and Carrie Brownstein (Sleater-Kinney vocalist/guitarist), premieres on IFC Friday, January 21, 2011 at 10:30 PM ET/PT. Each episode's character-based shorts draw viewers into 'Portlandia,' the creators' dreamy and absurd rendering of Portland, Oregon. PORTLANDIA's inhabitants include, but are not limited to: an organic farmer/cult leader; members of an adult hide and seek league, owners of a feminist book store; a militant bike messenger; and an artsy couple who attach cut-outs of birds to everything. In PORTLANDIA Armisen and Brownstein encounter the bike-riding Mayor of Portland (Kyle MacLachlan), who solicits the duo to write a new theme song for the city. Their City Hall escapades feature a cameo from the real mayor of Portland (Sam Adams) playing the assistant to MacLachlan's mayor.

Writer, actress and comedian Tina Fey will be awarded the prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in a ceremony at the Kennedy Center on November 9. The ceremony will air on PBS on November 14.
