A star studded production of Frank Wildhorn and Jack Murphy's newest musical, MONTE CRISTO, recently received its premiere production at the Universal Arts Center in Seoul, South Korea. The production stars a number of Korean stars in the new musical based on the classic Alexandre Dumas novel.

Elegance and gorgeous music have a new home as Bay Area Cabaret moves into its new venue - The Empire Ballroom at San Francisco's iconic Sir Francis Drake Hotel (450 Powell Street off Union Square). Fresh off its sold-out Valentine's Day performance by Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, Bay Area Cabaret continues its sixth season of seasoned Broadway, pop and jazz vocalists on Sunday, March 28th when Broadway star Karen Mason (Mamma Mia!, Hairspray, Sunset Blvd) performs a new program of showstoppers and pop originals. Next up on Friday, April 16th is The Rose songwriter Amanda McBroom, performing a tribute to her songwriting inspiration Jacques Brel. The season closes with Grey Gardens star Christine Ebersole in a recent award-winning Carlyle program with Michael Feinstein's accompanist John Oddo leading a four-piece band on Sunday, April 25th.

'Frank Wildhorn & Friends' performed in Osaka, Japan March 12 through March 21. The concert, presented in Tokyo and Osaka, was the first concert event in the history of Japanese theatre that features a whole program of music by a living American composer. Started March 12, 2010 at Tokyo's renowned Bunkamura Orchard Hall and followed by a run in Osaka, Wildhorn's music enchanted thousands of Japanese fans.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, continues its all-star Spring 2010 season with the return engagement of powerhouse vocalist Linda Eder, who opened her show 'All of Me' last night, April 6, 2010. The show will run through April 17, 2010. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the opening night. The show features music from her latest CD of Hollywood classics, Soundtrack, as well as standards, fan favorites and original compositions. The show features Billy Stein as Musical Director with Zev Katz on bass, Jerry Marotta on drums, Peter Calo on acoustic guitar and Allison Cornellruns on keyboard and vocals.

Jason Robert Brown's musical about a young Jewish boy making the move from New York to Indiana, 13, is among the highlights of Circle Players' 61st Season as one of Tennessee's oldest community theatre companies. Karen Mason, Broadway & recording star will be heading to Queens this summer to direct students in a Cabaret Workshop Camp for teens produced by the Theatre Arts Center in Bayside. On Broadway Ms. Mason starred in Sunset Boulevard, Mama Mia, Hairspray, and most recently, the Queens of Hearts in Frank Wildhorn's new musical, Wonderland.
