A fixture of Middlebury’s music scene for more than 25 years, pianist Chuck Miller is retiring to Florida — so a number of eminent Vermont jazz players and vocalists will join him at the local Town Hall Theater on Thursday, Aug. 31, for a performance that’s billed as “Chuck’s Last Jam.”

Christmas means music – choirs in churches, carolers on the street, performances in theaters. But due to the pandemic, we're facing a season in which musicians, and their music, are stuck indoors.

Middlebury Acting Company (MACo) presents The American Dream Project, a new, monthly online play reading series, starting on Sunday, November 15th. Through the American Dream Project, MACo seeks to create a community of people interested in reading and discussing some seminal, relevant plays that directly pertain to issues of racial and economic inequities in our country.
