The premiere episode of FX's critically-acclaimed miniseries American Horror Story: Coven (10/9/13, 10:00-11:12 PM) was the most-watched telecast ever of the American Horror Story franchise, recording 5.54 million Total Viewers, 3.87 million Adults 18-49 (3.0 rating) and 2.34 million Adults 18-34 (3.5 rating), which ranked #1 for the night in Adults 18-34 against all broadcast competition in primetime (8:00-11:00PM), and it ranked #2 in Adults 18-49 behind Modern Family. The third season of FX's hit series AMERICAN HORROR STORY titled 'Coven' premieres tonight, Wednesday, October 9th at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Series co-creator Ryan Murphy today teased that the new season will be 'a little bit scary, but more fun' than previous installments.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, after a recent screening, AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN creator Ryan Murphy revealed the deeper implications of this season, set to premiere on FX tomorrow night, October 9, at 10 p.m.

Ms. Fleischman will be presented the Warburg Humanitarian Award for her outstanding philanthropic endeavor and support of the arts. Harriet Harris (Cinderella) and Barclay Collins are Gala Chairs, Nathan Lane (The Nance) and Hal Prince (21 Tony Award winner) will present the awards; Stephen DeRosa (Boardwalk Empire) will host, Laura Osnes (Cinderella) will perform. Tributes will be offered by a host of celebrities. Tom Stoppard's TONY-winning play will run off-Broadway in rotating repertory with Hamlet, directed by Ian Belknap, beginning in January 2014. Prior to New York, Hamlet will play a fall tour of western states beginning at Cal State-Northridge. A national tour of both plays, including an extended stay at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, begins in February. This is the 41st season and tour for The Acting Company, the sixth tour in association with the Guthrie.

The Acting Company of New York will return to the Gallo Center for the Arts with William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet' on Sunday, October 13, at 4 pm. The company last visited the Gallo Center in 2012 with 'Of Mice and Men,' performing before a capacity audience.
