THE WRESTLING PATIENT Selected as NEA Play Competition Finalist

SpeakEasy Stage Company, Boston Playwrights' Theatre and FortyMagnolias Productions, are pleased to announce that THE WRESTLING PATIENT, the new play based on the Dutch Jewish writer Etty Hillesum that they will jointly produce this spring, has been selected as a finalist in the Outstanding New American Play competition administered by Arena Stage and sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) New Play Development Program (NPDP).

'Crawl, Fade to White' Announces Casting and Other Changes

13P (Thirteen Playwrights, Inc.), the OBIE Award-winning theater company made up of 13 playwrights, in association with Minetta Street Productions, will present the New York premiere of Sheila Callaghan's (P#7) 'CRAWL, FADE TO WHITE,' directed by Paul Willis. 'CRAWL. FADE TO WHITE' will be performed at the Ideal Glass Gallery (www.idealglass.org), 22 East 2nd Street (between Bowery and 2nd Avenue), with performances running from October 11 through November 1, 2008. The official opening night will be Monday, October 13 at 8:00 PM.

'Ugo's Last Dance' Runs at Medicine Show Theatre Starting 9/10

'The Brothers Size' Makes Public Theatre World Premiere

The Public Theater will continue its fall season with the world premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's new play The Brothers Size, directed by Tea Alagic, and produced in association with The Foundry Theatre who brought The Brothers Size to The Public's 2007 Under the Radar Festival earlier this year where it was the breakout hit of the festival.
