Epic Soundtrax and Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Cameron Crowe's groundbreaking romantic comedy, 'Singles,' with the release of a newly expanded and remastered edition of the Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack-Deluxe Edition album on Friday, May 19.

With Nuffield Southampton Theatres' production of Fantastic Mr Fox about to start its tour at Lyric Hammersmith, Director Sam Hodges today announces casting for the forthcoming production of John Steinbeck's Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Grapes of Wrath, adapted by Frank Galati. 

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present The Night of the Iguana, written by Tennessee Williams and directed by Michael Wilson. Performances begin on Saturday, February 18 and run through Saturday, March 18 at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle St., Cambridge.

On Valentine's Day, the Times Square Alliance will host a celebration of love and romance during a large vow renewal ceremony on the iconic Red Steps at Duffy Square (46th and Broadway) in Times Square on Tuesday, February 14th, at 6:00 PM. The Butterfly Conservatory: Tropical Butterflies Alive in Winter, an annual favorite visited by millions of children and adults, returns to the American Museum of Natural History on Saturday, December 10. Celebrating its 19th year at the Museum, this popular attraction transforms the coolest day into a summer escape, inviting visitors to mingle with up to 500 fluttering, iridescent butterflies among blooming tropical flowers and lush green vegetation in 80-degree temperatures. The Butterfly Conservatory will be on view through May 29, 2017.

Falletta leads the Virginia Arts Festival Chamber Players, and exemplary soloists Baritone Roderick Williams, Tenor Charles Reid and Mezzo Soprano Susan Platts in this recording of Schoenberg's arrangements of Mahler's songs, Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen (Songs of a Wayfarer) (arr. A. Schoenberg for voice and ensemble) and Das Lied von der Erde (The Song of the Earth) (arr. A. Schoenberg for voice and ensemble).

Pittsburgh Opera opens its 78th season with the Giuseppe Verdi favorite La traviata, at the Benedum Center October 8th-16th. La traviata - the fallen woman - is a compelling tale of love, intrigue, money, and power in 19th century France. It tells the heart-wrenching story of courtesan Violetta Valery, played by Pittsburgh favorite Danielle Pastin.

English Touring Theatre today announces its spring season which features the world premiere of Silver Lining, a new comedy written by Sandi Toksvig, and a tour of the critically acclaimed Olivier Award winning Shakespeare's Globe production of Nell Gwynn, starring Laura Pitt-Pulford in the title role.  It is the final season under the stewardship of Director Rachel Tackley who is leaving the company to become Executive Director of Chichester Festival Theatre.  Richard Tywman takes over, having been Associate Director (International) of the Royal Court Theatre since 2013.
