An open casting call for MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will be held in LOS ANGELES, Calif., today, June 24 (11 AM - 3 PM) at Screenland Studios (10501 Burbank Blvd in North Hollywood).

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, now playing at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), closes today, Sunday, June 24 following 901 performances on Broadway and at New World Stages.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the hit musical with productions in New York, Chicago and touring across North America, is launching a national casting search seeking musicians/actors for the roles of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for future replacements and understudies for the Chicago and touring productions.

When will they learn that simply putting the music of some notable singers on stage without a decent script to back it up does not a good musical make? Four students representing the Education Through Music Foundation and the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will be the highlight of the Education Through Music's Annual Gala held tonight, May 1, at the Grand Hyatt (109 East 42nd Street). The four children working with the MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET cast are middle school students at St. Anselm School in the South Bronx, an Education Through Music partner school since 2007.
