The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) has announced the 2013 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Play, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and Distinguished Performance Award. The nominations were announced at a ceremony hosted by Patina Miller and Michael Urie this morning at Sardi's Restaurant which were streamed live online at www.BroadwayWorld.com.

Each year, United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, nominates artists for its special uAward. This honor recognizes those with outstanding achievements in popularizing the form of solo performance. A resident company at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in New York City, United Solo has nominated several artists for its special 2013 uAward.

On Tuesday, April 30th, WNYC's Leonard Lopate will host an up-close-and-personal lunchtime conversation with actress Fiona Shaw and director Deborah Warner about their long-standing creative collaboration and the provocative new Broadway production of The Testament of Mary, as part of The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space's "Inside Look" series.

Tickets go on sale today for the world premiere of new stage musical From Here to Eternity. The show will preview at the Shaftesbury Theatre from 30th September with Press Night on 23rd October 2013. The Drama League has just announced that Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce will host The 79th Annual Drama League Awards. The Awards Luncheon will be held Friday afternoon, May 17th at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway) at noon.

The Testament of Mary, currently in previews, will begin offering student tickets effective tomorrow, Thursday, March 28 at the Walter Kerr Theatre box office (219 West 48th Street). Subject to availability, a limited number of tickets will go on sale the day of the performance when the box office opens. Students will be able to buy two tickets per valid ID for $35.00 each, and both cash and credit cards will be accepted.
