Wilderness Films presents Moving Stories, a new documentary featuring members of Battery Dance directed by Rob Fruchtman and produced by Cornelia Ravenal, Mikael Sodersten and Wendy Sax. The film will be screened, with a discussion with the filmmakers and members of Battery Dance Company, on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 7pm at The Museum of Modern Art, 11 W. 53rd Street, NYC, as part of Doc Fortnight 2018: MoMA's International Festival of Nonfiction Film and Media. Thousands of Alaskans will fend off cabin fever as they scream with laughter during Anchorage Concert Association's presentation of the sci-fi smash Little Shop of Horrors, Feb. 20-25 in the Atwood Concert Hall. With infectious music that combines rock, Motown and Broadway, this hilarious musical has devoured the hearts of theatregoers for more than 30 years.

Committed, presented by New York Theater's Winterfest, begins performances tonight at 6.15pm at The Hudson Guild Theater (441 West 26th Street), with additional performances on Saturday, February 10th at 8.30pm and Sunday, February 11th at 1.00pm.  Written by award winning director, Tricia Brouk (Romance and Cigarettes, "Sublets," This Dinner is Full), Committed features 10 original songs by lyricist/composer Andrew David Sotomayor (50 Shades of F***d Up).

Is God Is treats both morality and genre as notions to be exploded, drawing on the ancient, the modern, the tragic, the Spaghetti Western, hip-hop and Afropunk in its subversion of theatrical constructs.

Singer, songwriter, actor and director Juan Pablo Di Pace today announced the release and debut of his new song and music video “Broken.” With an original idea by Di Pace (who can currently be seen as the character Fernando on Netflix's #1 show 'Fuller House') the video is a collaborative effort between Di Pace and his Fuller House co-star Adam Hagenbuch (who plays Jimmy Gibbler). The result? An intense film noir!

Troupe today announces Elizabeth Berrington and Tanya Moodie are to star in the UK premiere of Joel Drake Johnson's tense workplace drama Rasheeda Speaking. Directed by Jonathan O'Boyle the production opens at Trafalgar Studios 2 on 20 April, with previews from 18 April, and runs until 12 May.

Mercury Theatre Colchester and TBO Productions today announce the world premiere of the brand-new musical - Pieces of String with book, music and lyrics by Gus Gowland. The production, directed by Ryan McBryde and designed by 2017 Linbury Prize Finalist Fin Redshaw, opens on 27 April at the Mercury, with previews from 20 April and runs until 5 May.

Veteran Broadway actor, Richard Waits, is bringing Jon-Marc McDonald's anticipated play, Relatively Conscious, to the stage in February at the New York Theater Festival. The play, which centers around the murder of James Byrd Jr in 1998, will run February 6, 7, and 10th at the Hudson Guild Theater in New York City.
