Semyon Bychkov will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct two weeks of programs, including the 50th anniversary of a Philharmonic commission, artist debuts, and symphonic cornerstones. MUSA is a chamber ensemble dedicated to historically informed performances of Baroque and Classical repertoire, as well as new music for period instruments. From trio sonatas to orchestral works, MUSA has presented programs on numerous concert series across the Bay Area.

The Colburn School and the American Viola Society today announced the 24 live round competitors for the 2018 Primrose International Viola Competition. During the pre-screening round that took place in the fall of 2017, 157 applications were received, the most in the competition's history. The 2018 Primrose International Viola Competition takes place at the Colburn School, June 10-16, 2018.
