'American Idol' winner and Paris Las Vegas headliner Taylor Hicks will take the stage with the smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Harrah's Las Vegas Showroom. Hicks will perform alongside the cast for a special encore during the show's finale.

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals along with Higher Ground Presents have announced the 3rd annual Grand Point North Music Festival will take place today, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, 2013.

- Warren Haynes will be joining the Grand Point Dead after party at Higher Ground on Sunday 9/15. Warren will be joining members of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and other special guests from the festival in performing Grateful Dead classics.

The producers of Tennessee Williams' The Two-Character Play starring Tony Award winner Amanda Plummer (Agnes of God, Pulp Fiction,Hunger Games: Catching Fire) and Academy Award nominee Brad Dourif (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Deadwood), now playing throughSeptember 29th at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), are pleased to welcome Rob Sedgwick and Elize (Lisi) Russell to the company. The pair will perform the roles usually played by Mr. Dourif and Ms. Plummer at the Monday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 11 (matinee & evening) performances, while Mr. Dourif is out of town attending a funeral of a close relative who recently passed away.

New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) has announced DEAD RECKONING, the 6th Annual Women's Work Short Play Festival with three original scripts developed to that theme. The opening reception is open to the public today evening, June 5th from 6:00-10:00 p.m. (this is the first time ArtCenter has utilized both Lincoln Road spaces simultaneously).
