Pride Films and Plays annual fall benefit Simply Sensational: Legends will reach new heights this year when Tony Award Winner Donna McKechnie headlines the event on October 20. She will be joined on stage by other musical guests American Idol Finalist Devin Velez, Colte Julian from Million Dollar Quartet, and Ryan Lanning from Bailiwick Chicago's The Wild Party. WGN's Dean Richards serves again as the emcee, which features a preshow reception at 6 pm, the performance at 7, and a post show champagne toast with Ms. McKechnie.

TONY Award winning actress, Faith Prince, is bringing her one-woman cabaret act in addition to her world-renowned Master Class to the Conejo Valley the weekend of October 10th. Of Note Productions is producing this weekend event. Of Note Productions seeks to provide the people of Ventura County special event performances by the most notable contributors to Broadway, Off-Broadway and NYC Cabaret. They are committed to enriching the cultural life of this community by providing high quality performances, elegant receptions celebrating these artists, as well as educational events that will inspire and engage local playgoers and students of all ages, giving them the opportunity to learn from those at the very top of their field.

Broadway's leading ladies Andrea McArdle, Faith Prince, Donna McKechnie, and Maureen McGovern in a holiday presentation of 4 GIRLS 4: A CHRISTMAS TOGETHER. This evening of song, dance, and laughter starring award winning Broadway, film, TV and recording artists and with music direction by John McDaniel will play The Bushnell's Belding Theater on December 1; The Wilbur Theatre in Boston on December 2 and 710 Main Theatre in Buffalo on December 3. 4 GIRLS 4 is presented by producers Matthew Lombardo and Rick Murray.

Broadway and cabaret performer Jason Graae and his partner of fifteen years, Glen Fretwell, exchanged marriage vows in a small ceremony at their Hollywood Hills home on August 30, 2014 in the presence of family and friends. The Broadway Experience returned for a seventh summer program at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center from July 28th - August 10th. With over 20 professional educators from the Broadway community, TBE offered over 75 classes, workshops, lectures, a performance based second week and invited Jonathan Groff as guest speaker. Jonathan spoke about his life on and off the stage, and took the time to answer questions and offer advice and inspiration. He was even kind enough to give an impromptu performance from Disney's recent hit film, Frozen.

Today in 2008, A Catered Affair closed at the Walter Kerr Theatre, where it ran for 116 performances. A Catered Affair is a musical with a book by Harvey Fierstein and music and lyrics by John Bucchino. It is based on both the 1956 film The Catered Affair written by Gore Vidal and the original 1955 teleplay by Paddy Chayefsky, set in 1953 in the Bronx. John Doyle directed the production, which starred Fierstein, Faith Prince and Tom Wopat.

McElwaine Reflections series, pays tribute to one of Broadway and Hollywood's greatest showmen - Danny Kaye. Stephen Nachamie directs and Jeff Biering is the Musical Director.

'I Think About You' is the cabaret version of Anthony de Mare's latest initiative, 'Liaisons: Re-Imagining Sondheim from the Piano.' July 18-19, 2014, during Bear Week 2014, will mark the premiere of 'I Think About You,' which is exclusively tailored for Provincetown audiences, directed by Jef Hall-Flavin.

San Francisco Playhouse (Artistic Director Bill English & Producing Director Susi Damilano) concludes its provocative eleventh season with Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim (music and lyrics) and James Lapine (book). The production runs today, June 24th to September 6th, 2014, with an official opening set for June 28.
