Giles Terera Will Join the Cast of THE AMERICAN CLOCK at The Old Vic

The Old Vic today announces that Giles Terera (Hamilton) will be joining the cast of Arthur Miller's The American Clock directed by Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Hadestown) to play Robertson / Moe 3. He joins the previously announced cast Amber Aga, Paul Bentall, Greg Bernstein, Clare Burt, Flora Dawson, Abhin Galeya, Fred Haig, Jyuddah Jaymes, John Marquez, Francesca Mills, Taheen Modak, Christian Patterson, Golda Rosheuvel, Abdul Salis, Josie Walker and Ewan Wardrop.

The Old Vic today announces initial casting for Arthur Miller's The American Clock. Visionary director Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Hadestown) presents Arthur Miller's ground-breaking play about hope, idealism and a nation's unwavering faith in capitalism, with music by Justin Ellington.

Every year, the Globe hosts productions by writers other than Shakespeare - this year it sees the inclusion of Kneehigh Theatre's version of Michael Morpurgo's 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips. Adapted for the stage by Morpurgo and Emma Rice, it sits neatly in the middle of the Wonder Season, prior to embarking on a UK and US tour. On the face of it 946 is a family show, however there really is something for everyone.

Shakespeare's Globe is delighted to announce casting for 946: THE AMAZING STORY OF ADOLPHUS TIPS, co-adapted by Michael Morpurgo and Globe Artistic Director Emma Rice. After a critically acclaimed 2015 run at Kneehigh's Asylum, Emma Rice's family show will be brought to London for the first time, before embarking on a major international tour of the UK and US. It tells the story of the rehearsed D-Day landings in Devon's Slapton Sands, and stars Katy Owen as the heroine Lily, Mike Shepherd as her grandfather, Adam Sopp as the evacuee Barry, and Nandi Bhebhe and Ncuti Gatwa as American soldiers Harry and Adi.

UK's WIND IN THE WILLOWS, with Alan Titchmarsh, Closes Today

The Royal Opera House's production of The Wind in the Willows in London's West End, directed and choreographed by Will Tuckett, and starring Alan Titchmarsh, who has been lauded for his role as the story's narrator, closes today, 17 January 2015 at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Directed and choreographed by Will Tuckett and starring Alan Titchmarshwho has been lauded for his role as the story's narrator, the Olivier Award-winning production playing at the Vaudeville Theatre closes on 17th January 2015.

Arthur Pita to Premiere THE WORLD'S GREATEST SHOW at Ip-Art Festival in July

Award-winning director & choreographer Arthur Pita is set to premiere THE WORLD'S GREATEST SHOW*, a new dance theatre event exploring the phenomenon of dance marathons in 1930s America. Opening at Greenwich Dance on Friday 27 & Saturday 28 June, the production will be performed at Ipswich Corn Exchange as part of the Ip-Art Festival on Friday 11 & Saturday 12 July, culminating with a performance at the Paul Hamlyn Hall, Royal Opera House on Sunday 27 July.

Tony Robinson Stars in Royal Opera House's THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS Tonight

Tony Robinson will star as Kenneth Grahame, who narrates the Royal Opera House's production of The Wind in the Willows, in the ROH's first commercial transfer to London's West End. This well-loved story is brought to life through song, music, dance and puppetry. The production, directed and choreographed by Will Tuckett, will run at the Duchess Theatre from tonight 11 December 2013 - Saturday 1 February 2014.
