Award-winning Canadian theatre company, SideMart Theatrical Grocery is proud to present the English language Canadian premiere of ILLUSIONS by one of Russia's foremost playwrights, Ivan Viripaev, from April 21 - May 7, 2017 at Crows Theatre. 

Building on the buzz surrounding Five Faces for Evelyn Frost, the exciting new bilingual co-production by Canadian Stage and Theatre francais de Toronto (TfT), the two companies and the Canadian Theatre Critics Association (CTCA) are hosting a post-show panel discussion with leading critics from Toronto and Montreal.

From February 14th to March 25th, Canadian Stage and Theatre francais de Toronto join forces to coproduce Five Faces for Evelyn Frost, an innovative theatrical experience that examines how social media transforms human relationships while challenging the notions of authenticity and truth.

Today, Theatre francais de Toronto (TfT) is pleased to announce the seven productions that will make up its 2016/17 season. This is the final season programmed by Guy Mignault (who will step down in June 2016 after 19 years as Artistic Director) and will be overseen by Joel Beddows, incoming Artistic Director.

The Toronto theatre community came together on Tuesday to express outrage on social media over the lack of diversity on the announced creative teams for productions in Canadian Stage's 2016-2017 season.
