Playing in Traffic, written by eight hot playwrights from the acclaimed Women's Project Playwrights Lab and directed by Alice Reagan, will be presented for two performances on one night only, Thursday, August 12, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm at Ensemble Studio Theatre, 549 Wet 52nd Street.

The production will be directed by Obie Award winner David Drake, whose critically acclaimed mounting of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic OUR TOWN enjoyed a extended run at the Provincetown Theater this spring.

The New York Times reports today that Hartford Stage Artistic Director Michale Wilson will be stepping down from his poast after 12 years in the position. Wilson is departing in the hopes, he tells the New York Times, of being 'more fully in the rehearsal hall.'
