Almeida Theatre Cast members past and present were out in force to celebrate Michael Attenborough's 11 years as Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre. On Saturday 13 April, the Almeida Theatre hosted a party at Middle Temple Hall, the very place that saw the first performance of Twelfth Night, to give Michael an amazing send-off. Richard Eyre to Direct GHOSTS at the Almeida Theatre, Sept 26

Richard Eyre returns to the Almeida Theatre to adapt and direct Ibsen's Ghosts. Ghosts will run from 26 September - 23 November 2013, with Press Night on 3 October. Members of the production team and cast will be announced shortly. Priority booking for Ghosts for Almeida Theatre members opens on 9 April 2013, with public booking opening on 23 April.

'Season of Plenty' follows a watershed year at the Globe and offers theatre's brightest talents in a rich season of fifteen plays, including three world premieres, an expansion of the Globe's award-winning touring, and the return of three Globe to Globe productions from last year's once-in-a-lifetime festival.

Shakespeare's Globe has just announced a season of magic, enchantment and the fantastical lined up. The Tempest with Roger Allam returning to play Prospero, Colin Morgan as Ariel in his Globe debut and Jessie Buckley as Miranda. A Midsummer Night's Dream is always a joy, and Olivier Award winning Michelle Terry is coming back as Titania. Continuing with the supernatural, Eve Best will direct Macbeth, with Joseph Millson as the title role.

The BBC and SCIENCE are co-producing a new factual drama starring award-winning actor William Hurt ('Altered States', 'Kiss of the Spider Woman', 'Children of a Lesser God', 'History of Violence', 'Into the Wild', 'Too Big To Fail').
