Roundabout Theatre Company, in association with Daryl Roth Productions, will soon present Steven Pasquale in the first-ever New York revival of Alfred Uhry and Robert Waldman's musical comedy The Robber Bridegroom. Ballet Memphis Returns to The Joyce Theater, Oct. 27-Nov. 1

Ballet Memphis, under the artistic direction ofDorothy Gunther Pugh, will return to New York City's Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue) for the first time since 2007 for a limited run this October. Performances begin Tuesday, October 27th and run through Sunday, November 1st. Tickets start at $10.

Theater Wit's BAD JEWS Transfers to the Royal George Tonight

Theater Wit moves the company's smash hit Chicago premiere of BAD JEWS back to the city, after its virtually sold-out summer run at Skokie's North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Starting tonight, August 28, Wit's production of playwright Joshua Harmon's smart, funny new play about young Jews grappling with faith, family and identity will reopen at the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St., in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Theater Wit has announced it will move the company's smash hit Chicago premiere of Bad Jews back to the city, after its current, virtually sold-out summer run at Skokie's North Shore Center for the Performing Arts closes on August 8.

Ari Brand, Molly Ephraim and Raviv Ullman Star in BAD JEWS, Opening Tonight at Geffen Playhouse

Geffen Playhouse welcomes Ari Brand (Broadway The Neil Simon Plays; Off-Broadway My Name is Asher Lev), Molly Ephraim (ABC's Last Man Standing, Broadway Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof; film Paranormal Activity), Lili Fuller (Hulu's Complete Works) and Raviv Ullman (Off-Broadway Sticks and Bones, title character in Disney's Phil of the Future) as the cast for its West Coast premiere production of Bad Jews by Joshua Harmon, directed by Matt Shakman, who is the artistic director of the Black Dahlia Theatre, a Geffen playhouse alumni (Good People, Wait Until Dark) and a noted television director (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Mad Men).

Theater Wit Extends BAD JEWS; Moves to Skokie Next Month

Theater Wit Artistic Director Jeremy Wechsler announced today a two-week extension of its smash hit Bad Jews, now running through June 21 at the company's home in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. Immediately after, Wit will transfer Bad Jews to the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie's 318-seat space for a summer remount, June 26-July 19.

Theater Wit Announces BAD JEWS Cast

Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago, has announced the cast and design team for its Chicago premiere of Joshua Harmon's Bad Jews, a smart, savage comedy about the holy and holier-than-thou, which closes Wit's 2014-15 season April 24-June 7, 2015.

THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM Runs 4/16-26 at Mary Moody Northen Theatre

Mary Moody Northen Theatre, the award-winning producing arm of the St. Edward's University theatre training program, concludes its 2014-2015 season with The Robber Bridegroom, based on the novella by Eudora Welty, with book and lyrics by Alfred Uhry and music by Robert Waldman. The show runs April 16 - 26, 2015.
