The Canadian Opera Company has announced the following upcoming events.

Based in Toronto, the Canadian Opera Company is the largest producer of opera in Canada and one of the largest in North America. The company enjoys an international reputation for artistic excellence and creative innovation.

The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal announced an 'Open Doors with Music', an open house to which the entire Montreal community and all visitors are invited, from Thursday to Saturday, September 8 to 10.

The Nashville Symphony opens its 2010/11 season on September 10 & 11 with performances of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 at War Memorial Auditorium. Led by Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero, the orchestra and chorus will be joined by four internationally renowned soloists: soprano Erin Wall, mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor, tenor Anthony Dean Griffey and bass/baritone Morris Robinson. The concert begins at 8 p.m.

While repairs continue to the flood-damaged Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the Nashville Symphony has moved swiftly to secure alternate locations for all of its fall concerts from the upcoming 2010/11 season.

Erin Wall will make her Met debut as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni on April 13 and will also sing performances on April 16, 20, and 24. She replaces Barbara Frittoli, who will sing Donna Elvira instead of her originally scheduled role of Donna Anna. Frittoli is replacing Soile Isokoski, who has withdrawn from the four performances due to illness in her family.
