DMI Soundtracks announced today that the Broadway cast album of Amazing Grace will be released on February 26; with digital download pre-orders available on February 12. Amazing Grace will be available to purchase on all digital download and streaming services, as well as in-store. The recording was co-produced and engineered by six-time Grammy Award winner Frank Filipetti and co-produced and arranged by Joseph Church.
On February 25th, Feinstein's/54 Below will present 'In Memoriam,' a concert celebration of this season's Broadway and off-Broadway shows that have closed too soon. Original cast members from Allegiance, Amazing Grace, Gigantic, and Spring Awakening will be performing songs from their shows, and sharing some behind the scenes stories and photos.

A brand new musical, A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME: UNDRESSING BETTY CROCKER ONE SONG AT A TIME, begins at Bucks County Playhouse on January 30, 2016. This show is about a group of friends who form a woman's cooking club in the 1950s. I had the opportunity to speak with Erin Mackey who is playing the role of Connie Olsen in the production. Mackey is best known for her Broadway credits playing Glinda in WICKED, Oona in CHAPLIN and most recently Mary Catlett in AMAZING GRACE. I spoke to Mackey about this brand new musical and what audiences can expect as well as her first role on stage.

The evening benefits Other Voices¹ winter workshop with the students of PS347 The American Sign Language and English Lower School. Featuring cast members from Spring Awakening, Beautiful, Amazing Grace, Cabaret and more singing holiday classics and leading a holiday sing/sign along. The benefit will be held at 42West located at 512 West 42nd Street between 10th and 11th avenues tonight, December 17th, 2015.
