Signature Theatre Announces Cast of THE MYSTERY OF LOVE AND SEX

Signature Theatre has announced the cast of The Mystery of Love & Sex directed by Stella Powell-Jones (Off-Broadway's 17 Orchard Point). Playwright Bathsheba Doran (Signature's Nest, Showtime's Masters of Sex) returns to Signature with an unexpected love story of evolving friendship, finding your own path and the value of family and was heralded as "perfectly wonderful" and "among the season's finest plays" by The New York Times. The Mystery of Love & Sex will receive its DC area premiere in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre, April 5 - May 8.

Signature Theatre Announces Cast for Regional Premiere of THE FLICK

Signature Theatre has announced the cast of The Flick directed by Joe Calarco (Signature's Cake Off, Shakespeare's R&J). The Flick follows the story of three employees at a crumbling Massachusetts movie theatre and was called "the best argument anyone has yet made for the continued necessity, and profound uniqueness, of theater' by New York Magazine. Annie Baker's Pulitzer Prize-winning play will receive its DC area premiere in Signature Theatre's intimate ARK Theatre, March 1 - April 17.

 In a special limited engagement, Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production ofGeorgie: My Adventures with George Rose written and performed by Broadway veteran Ed Dixon (Broadway's Anything Goes, Signature's Sunset Boulevard). Directed by Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, and Million Dollar Quartet), this one-man play chronicles Dixon's relationship with his friend and mentor, the Tony-award winning character actor George Rose (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, My Fair Lady, Pirates of Penzance). Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose will play in Signature's ARK Theatre from January 8 - February 7, 2016.
