TV guide is reporting that Eric McCormack, Jessica Walter and Stephen Rea will guest-star in the new season of Law & Order: SVU. The theatre performers will join Christine Lahti, who was previously announced to be joining the show as a new Assistant District Attourney.

Actor nominees Amy Adams, Josh Brolin, Viola Davis, James Franco, Taraji P. Henson, Emile Hirsch, Frank Langella, Dev Patel, Freida Pinto and Michael Sheen will introduce their nominated cast film clips; Evan Rachel Wood will introduce a filmed salute to performances that were 'Trailblazers' either in their casting or subject matter; and Emily Blunt, Claire Danes, Ralph Fiennes, Katie Holmes, Kristin Scott Thomas and Marisa Tomei will present Actor? statuettes at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards?, executive producer and director Jeff Margolis announced today. They join a growing roster of actors who will honor their colleagues at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards that already includes Christina Applegate, Ernest Borgnine, Taye Diggs, Jon Hamm, Anthony Hopkins, John Krasinski, Eric McCormack, Amy Poehler, Susan Sarandon, Kyra Sedgwick, William Shatner and Forest Whitaker.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Joan Rivers 'made the rounds' in New York during the '50s, appearing in a few off-off Broadway plays (including one where she played a lesbian opposite an equally unknown Barbra Streisand), surviving sleazy agents, tawdry clubs, and hostile audiences. A 1965 booking on 'The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson' led to her hosting one of the first syndicated talk shows on daytime TV, 'That Show with Joan Rivers' in 1968. In the '70s Joan wrote the TV-movie The Girl Most Likely To (starring Stockard Channing) and then wrote and directed her first feature film Rabbit Test, casting Billy Crystal in the lead. In 1983 Joan became the permanent guest host on 'The Tonight Show.' Later, she headlined in Las Vegas, sold out Carnegie Hall, produced a Grammy nominated comedy album, and wrote two best-selling books. In 1989 the Tribune Corporation launched Joan in her own syndicated daytime talk show. She won an Emmy and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 1994 she wrote and starred on Broadway in Sally Marr and Her Escorts, for which she received a Best Actress Tony nomination. Since then, Joan has written three more best-selling books, maintains her own jewelry line on QVC, provided fashion commentaries for E! and The TV Guide Channel, and filmed a special for Bravo. Currently, she has two new books on sale (Men Are Stupid . . . And They Like Big Boobs: A Woman's Guide to Beauty Through Plastic Surgery and Murder at the Academy Awards). She will be a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice 2 beginning March 1st. Later this year, she will also host the new reality TV series How'd You Get So Rich? on TV Land.

Awards for his theater work include Tony Awards for the Broadway productions of The Great White Hope and Fences, a Tony Award nomination for On Golden Pond, and Obie Awards for Clandestine on the Morning Line, The Apple, Moon on a Rainbow Shawl and Baal, a Theatre World Award for Moon on a Rainbow Shawl and the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Fences. Variety is reporting that two-time Tony Winner Donna Murphy has landed a recurring role on the TNT series TRUST ME. In 1994, she won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance as Fosca in Stephen Sondheim's and James Lapine's Passion. In 1996, she appeared as Anna Leonowens in the Broadway revival of The King and I alongside Lou Diamond Philips. The role earned her another Tony for Best Actress in a Musical.She also appeared in a revival of Wonderful Town (from 2003 to 2005) and in Lovemusik (2007) as Lotte Lenya, opposite fellow Tony winner Michael Cerveris as Kurt Weill. She also appeared in the recent presentation of Follies by Encores and in the BC/EFA Benefit concert of Pamela's First Musical. Murphy's recent film roles include The Nanny Diaries as Scarlett Johansson's mother and Spider-Man 2 as Rosalie Octavius, wife of Dr. Otto Octavius, the movie's villain. Murphy is perhaps best known to film viewers for her role as Anij in Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) as the love interest of Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

Friday, October 24th, THE AFTER PARTY will welcome CBS' 'The Amazing Race' and The Fantasticks' NICK SPANGLER, The Fantasticks' LEWIS CLEALE, as well as the cast of LIKE YOU LIKE IT. The show will also feature special guest pianist STEVEN SILVERSTEIN.

Over the next month 'The View' will feature a number of Broadway favorites including some recent Tony Nominees.
