BIRDMAN, BOYHOOD, and More Win at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards- UPDATING LIVE!

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and dick clark productions (dcp) present the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards tonight, Sunday, January 11, 2015. Hosted by Golden Globe Award winners Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the third year in a row, the ceremony will air on NBC live coast-to-coast from 5-8 p.m. (PT) and 8-11 p.m. (ET) from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. BWW Live Recap: Lots of Laughs as Theatre Stars Shine at 72nd Golden Globes

Film and television stars (and audiences) are sure to come out in droves when funny ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler take the stage for a final time (so they say!) to host the Golden Globes, tonight on NBC at 8pm/7c. While the annual ceremony wouldn't be as geared toward theatre people as, say, the Tony Awards (June 7th on CBS for those who need a heads-up), this year is a bit different, with a collection of nominees having Broadway experience, and a few films up for nods having ties to theatre as well.

Breaking News: Sienna Miller Will Come to the CABARET; Set to Join Cast as 'Sally Bowles' This February

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that Sienna Miller ("American Sniper", After Miss Julie) will join the cast of CABARET starring opposite Alan Cumming beginning February 17, 2015. Miller will take over for current star Emma Stone, whose final performance is February 15, and play "Sally Bowles" for the final six weeks of the limited engagement through March 29, 2015.

Ben Rosenfield & Sophia Anne Caruso Join Cast of MCC Theater's THE NETHER

MCC THEATER has announced complete casting for the New York premiere of Jennifer Haley's The Nether directed by Anne Kaufman. Ben Rosenfield, memorably of the final two seasons of "Boardwalk Empire," and rising talent Sophia Anne Caruso will take on the roles of Woodnut and Iris, respectively. As previously announced, The Nether will also star "Nurse Jackie" Emmy Award winner Merritt Wever, New York theater veteran Peter Friedman and Tony Award winner Frank Wood.

Final 12 weeks to see Cabaret on Broadway

Emma Stone has extended her acclaimed run as "Sally Bowles" for two weeks through February 15, 2015! Alan Cumming will continue to star as "Emcee" for the final 12 weeks through March 29, 2015!

Breaking CABARET News! Emma Stone Extends Thru Mid-February & Revival Sets March Closing; New Sally to Come

Roundabout has just announced that Emma Stone has extended her acclaimed run as "Sally Bowles" opposite her fellow 2015 Golden Globe nominee Alan Cumming as "Emcee" until February 15, 2015. Cumming will star in the show for the final 12 weeks of the limited engagement. CABARET opened on Broadway on April 24, 2014 and the engagement has been extended twice through March 29, 2015. Casting for a new "Sally Bowles" will be announced shortly.

Lindsay Lohan Has Her Sights Set on Being CABARET'S Next Sally Bowles?

Lindsay Lohan just wrapped up her run in West End's Speed the Plow, but according to InTouch, she already has her sights set on her next project- Broadway. The actress is reportedly hoping that Oprah, who she has worked with through her OWN docuseries, can get her an audition 'for something like Cabaret'. Cabaret currently stars Emma Stone as 'Sally Bowles,' who took over for Michelle Williams in November. Stone is set to remain with the production through February 1, 2015.

The musical masterpiece returns, direct from Broadway! As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, Roundabout Theatre Company is a proud to announce a national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET. The tour will launch in January 2016 and visit over 20 cities in North America. All casting and market information will be announced shortly.
